ART+TECTture _002:
D-Gates Dock Canopy

In preparation for the inevitable traveling that accompanies the Thanksgiving holiday, we wanted to publish an awesome sketch from Las Vegas' very own McCarran International Airport

TRPinc's principal architect, Steve Richardson, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, has worked on just about every piece of the McCarran International Airport throughout the years and the D-Gates is no exception. So if anyone is flying in/out of Las Vegas this week, see if you can spot this "Dock" canopy!

And the best part of the sketch(s)? The entire thought process is evident in one sheet of sketch paper. From plans and details to a sectional axonometric, all the elements needed to understand an idea are put together to form an interesting yet productive whole!
